Do you identify yourself as a reader? Do you hate reading?  Do you think anyone really loves reading compared to watching television?  Let’s think about that for a second.

Reading requires intentional engagement.  You have to program your mind to recognize the value of reading insightful advice.

Leaders are readers. If you call yourself a leader and you have not read these 5 books… Start reading them today.

1.     The 10X Rule – Grant Cardone

In summary, increasing your winning percentage does not happen overnight.  For anyone.  You have to put in the work and the effort.  This book will shift your paradigm on what it takes to win consistently. Cardone talks about the massive amounts of action it takes to get to the next level.  Your paradigm for an abundant life will change. Read it. Love it.  Get better!

2.     What Got You Here Won’t Get You There – Marshall Goldsmith

Doing the same old stuff that you’ve been doing?  Identify what is holding you back from getting to that next level of success.  Goldsmith really does a good job of uncovering some of the key habits needed to help propel you to achieving more than everbefore.

3.     21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership – John Maxwell

To me, this is one of the most profound leadership books ever written.  Maxwell gives language to so much of what we see in the great leaders of this world.  His stories and examples are second to none.  Make this book one of your leadership playbooks.

4.     Leaders Eat Last – Simon Sinek

The title is fantastic – yes!  But what’s inside is even better.  Every great leader chooses to make those around them feel safe by going first into danger.  They put their own interests aside to protect their followers.  When you demonstrate this type of leadership, you will win followers that will work tirelessly to accomplish the vision.

5.     Leading With Questions – Michael Marquardt

Several leaders are unaware of the power of questions.  Want to coach more effectively? Ask better questions.  Want more engagement?  Ask better questions.  Want to solve more problems?  Ask better questions.  Fascinating read.  Enjoy!

I know you want to win.  These books will help you increase your winning percentage in leadership and in life.

Let me know which of your favorites I didn’t include on this list.

God bless you and be amazing!
